John Biggs, Mayor of Tower Hamlets, said: “This is a fantastic and inventive way to help bring people back to the iconic Brick Lane. Our hospitality businesses have had an especially hard time through the pandemic and we’ve been doing our best to help them, including setting up outdoor dining areas to provide extra safe space and investing in new shop fronts at Roman Road West. A food festival isn’t something we’ve done as a council before, but it shows we are willing to try something new to support our local businesses.”

The event is finished.
